Adsorption is the preferred method to remove pollutants because methods that degrade contaminants are expensive, energy intensive and produce degradation byproducts of unknown toxicity.

Yet, current adsorption methods using activated carbon are largely ineffective, and allow the passage of hundreds of micropollutants through water treatment systems.

CycloPure’s polymers are engineered for superior adsorption to rapidly and safely remove  hazardous contaminants escaping into drinking water resources. Our initial adsorption products, CD-MP and CD-PFAS, capture and remove over 200 hundred different micropollutants, including PFOA, PFOS, BPA, estrogen steroids, and pesticides such as chlorpyrifos and metolachlor.

CD-MP and CD-PFAS are ideally suited for use in various stages of water treatment: Purification, covering the treatment of water sources at point of entry (inflows), and Wastewater Treatment, covering the treatment of waste water released into water supplies (outflows).
