Our Products

CycloPure has developed two polymer formulations, CD-MP and CD-PFAS, which have been optimized for superior adsorption and contaminant removal,  for use across our Water Treatment, Functionalized Fabrics, and Industrial Separations solution categories.


The company’s technology is based on modular design principles that will enable expansion of its product lines with high affinity materials engineered to specific separation challenges.


Our polymers may be used as adsorbents in powder or granular form, or they may be bonded to textiles, fabrics, and other supports. This versatility creates broad application opportunities and greatly extends the value of each polymer formulation.


Micropollutant Polymer

CD-MP, the first porous, high surface area cyclodextrin polymer, was designed to provide superior contaminant removal for a wide range of Water Treatment and Industrial applications.

CD-MP was featured in the January 14, 2016 edition of Nature, and has demonstrated rapid and high affinity uptake against more than 200 compounds, including BPA, estrogen steroids, and the harmful pesticide chlorpyrifos.

CD-MP has been formulated for use in filtration devices, as a standalone treatment, or in combination with other treatment methods, and can be applied to textiles to create Functionalized Fabrics.


PFAS Polymer
CD-PFAS is the company’s second polymer and was engineered with selectivity and high binding affinity against PFOA, PFOS, and other per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFASs).
CD-PFAS has 10 times stronger binding affinity for PFOA than activated carbon, and achieves full adsorption of the toxin in hours, compared to only 55% removal by powdered activated carbon under identical conditions.
The polymer has been optimized so that modest amounts of material are required to capture and remove PFOA at environmentally relevant concentrations to less than 10 parts per trillion, which is less than the EPA advisory of 70 ppt.  This makes it an attractive formulation for commercial use.
